Requests for visits
The Bank hosts requests for both educational visits and tours of its numismatic collection.
During the educational visit, students are given an overview of the role and functions of the Central Bank of Malta and its interaction with the Eurosystem. This is followed by a short presentation on security features of the euro banknotes and coins.
These sessions are offered mainly to secondary school students (aged between 14 and 16 years) who are following economics / business studies. The session is open to groups of a maximum size of 30 students and presentations have a duration of approximately one hour.
Local schools are to apply through their respective Guidance and Counselling sections.
Other interested parties are to apply via the online form.
While every effort is made to accommodate all requests, acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
