On 26 July 2013 the Central Bank of Malta will issue two numismatic coins, in gold and in silver, depicting the Auberge de Provence.

On 24 June 2013 the Central Bank of Malta will issue a new euro coin set dated 2013. The set incorporates the eight Maltese euro coins as well as a €2 coin, commemorating the 1921 constitution granting self-government to Malta. All coins were struck at the Royal Dutch Mint. The euro coins were designed by Noel Galea Bason while the €2 coin was designed by Ganni Bonnici.

The Central Bank of Malta has just published the first issue of its Quarterly Review for 2013, which analyses economic and financial developments in Malta and abroad during the final quarter of 2012, while highlighting some further developments in subsequent months.
