Climate Change Statistics
This section comprises an interactive R Shiny dashboard, developed by the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Malta, to provide streamlined access to climate change-related statistical indicators, with a particular focus on financial physical risk exposures. This tool brings together harmonised data produced within the European Central Bank framework, combining climate hazard information with granular financial data to support analysis of how environmental risks may impact the financial system. By offering a centralised, user-friendly interface, the dashboard enables users to explore key indicators, underlying data, and methodological documentation in an efficient manner.
