Register of Credit Reference Agencies
According to the Central Bank of Malta's (CBM) Directive No. 15, the CBM will keep and publish on this page a list of all licensed Credit Reference Agencies (CRA) also known as Credit Bureaus. CRA means any undertaking licenced in terms of Regulation 47A of the Trade Licences Regulation, the main business is to prepare, assemble and evaluate credit information and related credit and risk management information on legal and natural persons for the purpose of issuing credit scores to be furnished to third parties. In turn CBM Directive No. 15 lays down the rules concerning the supervision of CRAs by the CBM, as the supervisory authority.
