Media persons visiting the Central Bank of Malta are to present their access card/ID Card at the Bank's reception desk. Visitors are strictly prohibited from taking any photos/video recordings – by any devices – of the Bank’s premises or staff members without the prior authorisation of the Chief Security Control Officer. 

The Central Bank of Malta has intensified its communication efforts to reach out to a broader, non-expert community by publishing articles in local newspapers and online portals. Interviews with the Governor, in which he shares his thoughts and perspectives on matters of local and European significance, are also published by both local and international news agencies.

The Central Bank of Malta organises various visits and public events including conferences, seminars, presentations. It also participates in various national and other cultural activities.

The Bank’s social media channels are used to disseminate information, share content and dialogue with the diverse audiences.
