Ian Borg is the Manager of the Economic Projections and Conjunctural Analysis Office within the Economic Analysis Department at the Central Bank of Malta. His primary area of expertise is macroeconomic forecasting. Mr Borg has published research on a variety of macroeconomic topics, including fiscal multipliers, financing conditions, the labour market, demographics, and migration. He represents the Bank on the ECB's Working Group on Forecasting and the Monetary Policy Committee. He holds degrees in economics from the University of Malta and the University of Warwick.
