Germano Ruisi

Germano Ruisi is a Principal Economist within the Economics Research Office at the Central Bank of Malta. His main research interests revolve around forecasting and nowcasting techniques, as well as vector autoregression modelling with particular focus on spillover effects from the global economy into the Maltese one. Germano Ruisi is a member of the WGEM expert group on tracking economic conditions at a high frequency. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Palermo, a Master of Science from the University of Naples Federico II, and Master of Research and a PhD in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.
