Sandra Zerafa is the coordinator of economic publications within the Economic Analysis Department. She has held various roles within the Bank, including as a research economist and as part of the Economic Analysis Office. Her work has contributed to both internal and external publications, covering topics such as the euro area, general economic statistics, structural changes in the Maltese economy, and credit developments for non-financial corporations, including SMEs. She played a key role in compiling a database of historical macroeconomic data for Malta. She also edited Bank publications, including one marking its 50th anniversary. Ms Zerafa holds degrees in economics from the University of Malta.
