Laura Bigeni is a Senior Economist within the Fiscal Affairs and Reports Office of the Central Bank of Malta. She is part of the Fiscal team and is responsible for reporting on developments in government finances and maintaining the Office’s databases in this regard. She is also responsible for analysing developments on the Bank’s Business Conditions Index (BCI). Ms Bigeni is a member of the ECB’s Working Group on Financial Accounts and Government Finance Statistics (WG FGS). She holds degrees in economics from the University of Malta.
