Kristen Carabott is a Senior Economist Statistician in the Department of Statistics at the Central Bank of Malta and has been working in this role since March 2021. During his tenure, he has developed extensive expertise on the credit and financial institutions sector, with a particular focus on payments statistics. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Malta, where he conducted research on matching theory. Later, he also completed an M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance at the University of London, enhancing his expertise in analytical and quantitative methods.
