Josette Grech is the Head of the Monetary Operations & Government Securities Department. She oversees the implementation of the monetary policy in Malta including the conduct of Eurosystem operations, counterparty framework and the collateral and liquidity management functions. She is also responsible for the Bank's market-making function for Malta Government securities and manages the market analysis section. Josette is a member of the ECB's Market Operations Committee and previously participated in the working group on monetary policy implementation and the collateral management network under the same Committee. She holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Financial Services from the University of Manchester (UMIST), UK.
