As part of a series of events organised to commemorate its 50^th anniversary, the Central Bank of Malta will be hosting a conference entitled "Central Banks in Historical Perspective: What Changed after the Financial Crisis?".

The conference will involve the participation of economists, policymakers and representatives from financial institutions and the business community. Minister for Finance, Professor Edward Scicluna and the Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Mario Vella, will speak at the event. The Vice-President of the European Central Bank, Vítor Constâncio, will deliver the keynote speech.
