Kimberley Charlie Agius is a Senior Expert Research Analyst within the Monetary Operations & Government Securities Office at the Central Bank of Malta. In her role, she monitors sovereign debt markets, with a particular focus on the euro area, and assesses evolving financial market dynamics and local debt market developments and their implications. She contributes to the monitoring of the market-making portfolio, forecasting, and a range of internal analytical work. Her research has focused on enhancing financial literacy, the local financial market, tracking policy developments related to sovereign debt markets, and examining their impact locally. Ms Agius holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Malta.
