Glenn Abela is a Senior Research Economist within the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Malta. His research spans a wide range of economic topics, with a focus on microsimulation modelling, fiscal policy, social welfare, and monetary policy. His work has been published both locally and in international peer-reviewed journals. Mr Abela is also a member of the ESCB Network on Microsimulation Modelling. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Malta and a Master's degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics.
