Adrian Borg is a Financial and Operational Senior Auditor at the Internal Audit Department, where he has worked since 2022. Throughout his time within the Department, he specialised in high-impact assurance and advisory engagements. He holds a Master in Accountancy from the University of Malta and is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor, as well as CISA qualified. Mr Borg is also actively engaged at the Eurosystem level. In 2024, he was appointed as a member of the Audit Task Force for Statistics, which reports to the European Central Bank’s Internal Auditors Committee. In this capacity, he collaborates with senior audit professionals from across National Central Banks to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks within the Eurosystem.
