Eliza Farrugia is an Economist within the Economic Analysis Department at the Bank, where she forms part of the Economic Projections & Conjunctural Analysis team. Her work focuses on supporting the projections round, with particular responsibility for forecasting house prices, credit developments, and the negotiated wages index. She is also actively involved in the Bank’s business dialogue exercise, contributing to the assessment of current economic conditions. Ms Farrugia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Management from the University of Malta and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in applied economics and financial Markets on a part-time basis at the University of Bath.
