Andrew Spiteri leads the Financial Stability Surveillance Office within the Financial Stability Surveillance and Research Department. He is responsible for coordinating and conducting assessments on a wide range of financial stability issues, engaging with diverse stakeholders across the financial system. Andrew is a regular and active contributor to the Bank's Financial Stability Report and its Interim Edition, and has authored several thematic boxed articles and special features on key topics in financial stability. He also contributes to working groups at the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Banking Authority (EBA). Andrew holds a B.Com (Hons) in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics, both from the University of Malta.
