Abigail Marie Rapa is a Principal Economist in the Economic Projections & Conjunctural Analysis Office within the Economic Analysis Department at the Central Bank of Malta. Her primary area of expertise is macroeconomic forecasting. Ms Rapa has published research on a variety of macroeconomic topics, largely focusing on labour market and price analysis as well as forecasting. Other publications focus on infrastructure gaps in Malta and the implications of changes in trade tariffs on the macroeconomic projections. She represents the Bank in the ECB’s Working Group on Forecasting. She holds degrees in economics and finance from the University of Malta and the University of London.
